Good morning, offshore we are still burdened by chilly water conditions. Yesterday we heard of kingfish on the bar and some cobia around. The cobia were found under some rays and the buoys. Bottom fishing has not been great due to the cold water but you can find a goliath grouper here and there both offshore and inshore. There are so many goliaths that they have become unwelcomed to hook. They destroy your tackle and break offs are common place.
Inshore, snook fishing off the south jetty at Ft. Pierce after dark has produced excellent results. Anglers there last night were treated to some great catch and release action on flair hawks. Just about any color would work. If you threw a pink hawk for some reason you you were almost guaranteed a goliath hook up and break off. Tarpon were also in the inlet and around the jetty. Trout and redfish can be found on the flats and snapper can still be found along the channel edges around Harbor Branch.
Don,t forget to enter our raffle for $2000.00 worth of archery equipment, tickets are $10.00 each or $50.00 for 6.
