Good morning, reports from offshore yesterday indicated that our water temperatures have finally warmed up a bit. Some kingfish were reported caught around the bait pods and there have been bluefish and spanish mackerel along the beaches. Yesterday reports also came through that there is plenty of bait around the buoys and a long the beaches.
Inshore, Jim Barnhart reported to Kadri Benton that he had a good catch of trout. One of those trout was 31" and another 28" fishing top water plugs early in the morning. The Ft . Pierce inlet has been the spot to be at for some snook catch and release action. Snook can also be found at the south jetty at Ft. Pierce.
Have a great day, Donald.
