Good morning, I hope everyone had a great 4Th of July weekend. Anglers off the Treasure Coast had a tough time finding fish on Saturday and Sunday. While water temperatures on the surface are in the low 80’s and bait is now prevalent around the buoys and on the beach the fish just have not moved back yet. We did hear of some cobia caught over the weekend and some kingfish could be found around the bait pods. Bluefish are back along our beaches and some spanish mackerel are mixed in with them.
Inshore, the snook fishing in the inlet has been good on live bait and we are hearing of some good trout catches on pigfish. Mangrove snapper are in the inlet and along the channel edges.
Have a great day, Kadri.
