Good morning, Finally something to report from offshore. Yesterday out front Chuck and and Heather Foster fishing on board the boat Miss Prissy, caught and released a Blue Marlin around 250#-300# in 600 ‘. Pete Welter fishing about 58 miles north of the corner yesterday with a 4 man crew was attacked by big Dolphin. They hooked five Dolphin up to 50# at one time and managed to land all 5. Conditions were terrible not at all like the weather man reported it to be. They managed to find a couple of small Tuna’s all caught on Cedar Plugs and Bally-hoo skirted with sea witches. Don Hunt reporting in from Scotland Cay in the Bahama’s caught a double header of Wahoo one at 65# the other at 110#.
Inshore, nearly everyone I spoke to yesterday, has been catching Trout. Both north and south in the lagoon on just about any of your favorite soft plastics. I have not heard of much activity on the big gator Trout as of yesterday. The Snook fishing around the docks south in the lagoon is beginning to heat up a little and Kadri Benton is still reporting activity at Taylor Creek.
Have a great weekend, Donald.
