Good morning,
There were a couple of sailfish caught yesterday along with a few dolphin on the troll. We spoke with a few people who did some bottom fishing who caught plenty of amberjacks and had to turn some nice groupers loose due to the closure. The wahoos are still on the corner with most fish averaging in the forties.
Inshore, we fished yesterday and found plenty of nice trout and some really nice redfish, but they were pretty tight lipped due to the cold water temps. Hopefully this will be the last blast of severe cold and the water will start to warm back up. I did see several snook on the flats yesterday which were the first ones I’ve seen for almost a month!!!
Have a great weekend!
