Good morning,
I haven’t gathered anything from offshore yesterday although the wind seemed fairly mild. We will keep you posted if we here something later today. We have the radio on at the shop and it sounds like a few boats are out this morning.
Inshore, redfish are still the hot topic. I spoke with Capt. Bruddy Tyson who fished Friday and had 25 reds in the Vero area. A few others reported multiple reds as well most in the 17-21" range with a slob thrown in everyone in a while. The trout fishing is still good with most fish averaging three pounds or more. Near the jetties the action is hot and if you were to fall in the inlet you will most likely be devoured instantly by a school of ravenous bluefish! Beware! The mackerel and bluefish are extremely thick and are loving any kind of silver spoon.
Considering the weather, the fishing is pretty strong, so get to it!!!
Have a great week.
