Good Morning,
Thanks to a few anglers that have braved the weather we have fishing to report! Offshore, Despite windy and rough conditions a few good boats made it offshore this week to capture a sails and some nice dolphin. The best of the action took place in a couple hundred feet of water just south of the inlet. Some of the dorado that were caught were gaffer size. There was also some talk from the Bahamas that there were some wahoo being caught. The report I heard was of a boat that had caught 7 or 8 fish 50 pounds and bigger. They were caught north of West End trolling to and from White Sands.
Inshore, Trout and Reds and the topic of discussion. I heard from a few people this week that there have been some mighty big trout up north in the river towards Round Island. The fish were being caught on jerk baits like the Exude RT Slug. The redfish have been around as well. They should be bunched up in small school with this cooler weather. Baits of choice would be something that can be fished slower like a DOA shrimp.
Stop by and check out our new selecting of 2010 bows and get ready for spring gobbler season with some new Mossy Oak camo.
Have a great day!
Geoff
