Good Morning, yesterday proved to be another banner sailfish day. There are two tournaments going on south of Stuart. One in Jupiter and one in Palm Beach. The Jupiter tournament totaled 231 sails with the Cowpoke winning the daily with 18 sails! Congratulations Guys! The next boat was the Sea Check with 16. Way to go VJ! There was also a blue marlin caught aboard the Sonny Boy. I got a text message from Taylor who is one of the mates on the boat and you could really tell the excitement! All the action is happening up around the power plant in 150 foot of water.
The inshore scene is still frozen. Water temps in some places are still below 50 degrees. The bluefish are starting to bite around the jetties and on the beach, but there about the only fish that can take the cold water.
Good Luck,
Geoff
