Good morning,
It is starting to look pretty wintry outside. The last good offshore report we got was from Monday afternoon. A couple of fish caught double digit sails that day as well as a few blackfin tunas in the upper twenty pound class. There were also several medium sized wahoos caught. It looks like we are going to have some nasty weather for a few days so go get your Christmas shopping done.
Inshore, the small redfish in the 17-23 inch range ares still fairly thick in the Southern Vero area. The weapon of choice has been the new Fishbite jerk baits and swim tails. The swimmers are being fished on 1/4 ounce jig heads and the best colors have been chartreuse and root-beer. The pompano fishing in the river seems to improve daily and the trout seem to be schooling up.
Have a great day!
