Good morning,
Conditions aren’t looking very favorable for a fun day of fishing the rest of this week. Both inshore and offshore waters are forecasted to be rough and rainy. I fished in the river yesterday afternoon with some friends of mine from Vero. We found some areas to fish in the lee of the wind and were almost immediately struck by rain showers. We moved andthen had to contend with the 20 knots of breeze. The seasonal tides are very high and conditions are just poor. There were quite a few mullet around. They were all mostly larger black mullet, but there were several small schools of finger mullet moving around the flats and mangrove shore lines seeming to not be bothered by an sort of predator.
As for the offshore water, conditions are horrible. Large seas and high winds are keeping everyone in port.
Good luck and have a great day!
Geoff
