Good afternoon, Offshore fishing is still slow. There are patches of cold water showing up again both offshore and on the beaches. This morning the bait pushed off the beach because of the cold water and folks were finding the bait out at the buoys. AJs are on the wrecks and Kingfish can be found in 55′ of water north of the12 buoy. Cobia are around but you just have to have some luck in finding them. Bottom fishing is the same way with the cold water patches pushing through you just have to get lucky and find some bottom with a better temperature.
Inshore, the Snook fishing slowed a little last night in the inlet because of cooler water, but it was still pretty decent on sub-surface swimming lures along the south side near the dock line. There are still Tarpon around and can be caught on live bait. One angler told me this morning that the lagoon was covered up in floating grass and he found it hard to work a lure with out getting grass on it. The fishing for them amounted to a couple of small Jacks and 1 under size Grouper.
Have a great day, Donald.
