Good Morning, Not a lot to talk about from offshore over the weekend. There is plenty of bait around the buoys and near shore. Threadfins and Sardines are numerous. The Kingfish and Tarpon are getting their bellies full. We did hear about some unidentified anglers on one boat that caught 5 cobia on Sunday, but that is about all we can tell you.
Inshore, the Trout fishing has intensified. Kadri Benton reported a good catch on Sunday near the Bear Point area. Kadri and friends caught the Trout on DOA Cal Minnows on just about any color they threw. They also caught some Trout on the Cotee root beer color jig. We are still getting reports of some very Mangrove Snapper fishing along the Intracoastal towards the north around Harbor Branch. Live shrimp is your best choice for the Mangroves.
Have a good Monday, Donald.
Don’t forget to bring in your Bow for a pre-season tune up.
