Good Morning,
With all the wind and bad weather that moved through yesterday I don’t have too much to report from offshore. I know that fishing for Kingfish in 80′ of water or less has been good. Throw in a Dolphin, Cobia, AJ and a occasional Sailfish and that is what you should expect for the up coming 4TH. of July weekend.
Inshore, the really big news from yesterday was, that there are plenty of Glass Minnows in the turning basin and with that there a plenty of Spanish Mackerel feasting . Anglers were catching them from the catwalk on the south bridge. Kadri Benton reported that there are lots of Black Margate in the inlet and the turning basin area. The story on Snook fishing continues to be the same, plenty around in lagoon for some good catch and release action.
Have a terrific day, Donald.
