Good Morning,
Yesterday turned out to be another banner day offshore. Most everyone fishing offshore concentrated on fishing for Cobia. There were plenty of Cobia to be found yesterday in 30′-60′ of water. Capt. Fox Watkins on the charter boat Ruby Gene caught 18 Cobia yesterday and the charter boat Last Mango captained by Tris Colket had 7 Cobia to 55# with mate Devin Silas in the pit. Last night Kadri Benton ventured out the inlet and found a smorgasbord of bait along the areas beaches, Sardines, Greenies, Blue Runners and Flying Fish could be found.
At Ft. Pierce’s south jetty, Flounder were caught along with some decent Snook action there as well. The inlet is producing plenty of good Snook and Tarpon action. All in all it sounds like you can get into some decent fishing action right now along the Treasure Coast.
Have a great day, Donald.
