Good Morning,
Finally a break in the weather yesterday , we heard some reports from offshore. Our friends from Dade City caught 11 gaffer Dolphin in 200 ft. of water on bally-hoo.Fishing north of the corner, Taylor Hansen on board the boat Xport, caught 10 Yellow fin Tuna in the 40#-60# range, a 40# Dolphin, 6 Dolphin in the 15#-20# range, they also caught and released a Blue Marlin about 300# and had another Blue one in their spread. Capt. Glen Cameron on board the Floridian caught 7 Yellow fin Tuna 40#-60# also fishing north of the corner.
Inshore the Snook fishing remains very strong on the south jetty, Red tail Hawks have been producing the best results in chartreuse color combo,s. The Snook fishing in the lagoon is still very good. Reports from just about everywhere along the south side of the inlet, the turning basin, and back on the flats have have been very good. Both jigs and top water lures have produced good results. We carry a good selection of these lures and would be happy to show you a selection of them.
Have a great weekend, Donald.
