We are receiving reports from offshore the last couple of days with the improvement in the weather. Capt. Moon Crossman fishing with Matt and Gerry Gaston aboard the Independence on Tuesday caught 8 dolphin to 21 pounds and yesterday caught 1 gaffer dolphin and jumped a Sailfish off. Capt. Glen Cameron aboard the Floridian caught 5 nice Yellowfin Tuna and 4 Blackfin Tuna on the corner all caught trolling Ballyhoo with a seawitch.
From the inshore scene last night the Snook seemed to have their bellies full. Reports this morning indicated a slow Snook bite last night. From the south jetty we are still hearing about Mackerel and Bluefish. We took a picture of a couple of Cubera Snapper and a 31" Snook this morning from one angler fishing on the catwalk of the south bridge. He was using a Chartruese jig.
Have a great day, Donald.
