Good morning,
We are back on track!!! Yesterday was our first day open in our new store. Thank you so much for all of you who have supported us throughout the years and made this all possible. I am sorry for not keeping up with the fishing reports the last week or so, it has been pretty hectic. Anyways, here it goes.
Offshore, last weekend was pretty slow. People found some more rays but the cobias were gone. The cobia fishing was red hot the week before, but they seemed to vanish the last few days. There were a few pretty nice dolphin caught and a crazy kingfish bite went off on the offshore bar. Giant schools of pogies pushed through and the kingfish were as solid as they have ever been. On the beach there are plenty of Spanish Mackerel and bluefish for those that want some light tackle or fly fishing action.
Inshore, there are still some pompano around as well as plenty of ladyfish and bluefish keeping them company. The night time snook fishing is still pretty good. Last week was off the charts for some lucky anglers. There have been some super duty trout to the North in shallow water, but they are tough to get close to.
Thank you all again for all your support throughout our transition. There are some pictures on the home page (panoramic) and some in the gallery of the new store for those of you who haven’t seen it yet.
Have a great week!
