Good Morning,
There is not a lot to report about the inshore fishing scene, we are still getting reports of bluefish in the surf and some good catches of Spanish Mackerel along area beaches. The snook fishing in the turning basin has all but shut down, however we have received some reports of some snook action in the inlet on red tail hawks.
Offshore we have heard of some dolphin catches in 150′-165′ and some decent kingfish action in 55′-65′.
Today is an historic day at Whites Tackle Shop. This is our last day of operation at our current location. We are moving to our new location at 1106 S. U.S. 1 next week and will reopen there on Monday February 23.
Thank you for supporting us the last 84 years in business in Ft. Pierce and the last 64 years in this location. It has been our pleasure to serve you with your fishing needs and look forward to serving you with the same enthusiasm in our new location. I know that my father is watching this move and he would be proud and excited to see the way Scott has recreated the same feel of our old shop in the new location and would to invite you to stop by after our move and have a look.
Thanks again, Donald
