Today is the Pink Ladies Billfish Tournament and the prelude to the Ft. Pierce Billfish Derby which starts on Friday and fishes until Sunday. I imagine it’s a little bumpy this morning so hopefully the ladies can hold their breakfast down out there. I haven’t heard much since the weekend as far as offshore but we will post up a detailed report in the morning based on today’s fishing.
Inshore, the redfish have shown back up in a few secret spots. I talked to several people that did really well on reds both Saturday and Sunday. All I know is they were to the South (I bet that’s a lot of help!) Pompano are thick from Jensen Beach to Stuart and I heard of several North of Harbor Branch. The heavy duty trout are in the deeper stuff and should remain there for a bit. It looks like we will have lows in the forties all the way through Monday.
Have a great day!
