Good Morning,
Snook fishing continues to improve now as the season has closed. Kadri was successful at helping tag another 14 snook last night to help in a research study for the state. He said the smallest fish that was tagged last night was 36 inches. Don’t forget just because the season is closed doesn’t mean you can’t still catch and release fish. All their fish were caught on 2 oz red tail hawks in chartreuse colors and white colors.
The charter boats haven’t fished the last few days so I don’t have much to report from Ft. Pierce, but I heard a report from Stuart, and it sounds like the sails are biting. The Bone Shaker had caught 5 yesterday before noon. The Floridian and a few other boats fished today, so we should have a report for you guys tomorrow.
