Good morning,
Well I’m not sure how this works but when I went home yesterday NOAA was calling for 7-9′ on Friday. I just checked it a minute ago and it is now 2-3′ on Saturday. Let’s hope we stay closer to 2-3′. The fishing has been good offshore. There were good numbers of dolphin to the North along with some pretty good numbers of sails. Hopefully by Saturday they will be even closer to home. We still have some really pretty ballyhoo for those of you planning to fish this weekend!
Inshore, another flurry of finger mullet have pushed into our area. I though we were getting close to the end but they are thick enough to walk on in certain areas. There are still plenty of snook blasting the finger-lings as they move up the shorelines, and some customers have reported some really nice trout the last few days. I haven’t heard much about redfish, although last time I fished we caught a few to the North near the Moorings.
Have a great day!
