Good morning,
I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. Despite the seas being a little bumpy, fishing was pretty good offshore. Paul Watson on the Fish Stix had three sails out of four on Saturday and one dolphin. A few other boats that made it out had multiple sail encounters as well. It sound like the best fishing was between 180-220′. There have been large schools of blackfin tunas off the coast from Sebastian to Jupiter. Most are from 5-10 pounds but a few have been caught near 20 pounds.
Inshore remains about the same. Unfortunately we are inundated with fresh water again and the clarity has gone back to a shade next to miserable. Despite the water color the fishing has still been good. There are plenty of snook to be had, and the top-water fishing has been great. Hopefully the water will begin to clear soon once we get out of this wet pattern of weather.
Have a great week!
