Good morning,
Fishing in the river continues to improve everyday. Reports of redfish and trout are flooding in from south in the river. Riptide Mullet in glow and new penny and DOA shrimp in glow and clear red glider have been top producers. Snook and tarpon have been ambushing mullet in the surf and inlet. Its kind of late for the tarpon to still be here, but the bait is here and the weather is right.
Offshore fishing has been slow. The kingfishing has been good on the beach to the north of the inlet. Live bait has been available at the 10A and 12 buoys to the south of the inlet. There hasn’t been any mention of dolphin or sails in the deeper water in a few days, but there has got to be a few swimming around.
Don’t forget the inshore tournament is this weekend. Stop by and get stocked up with all your tricks for Saturday.
Good luck,
Geoff
