Good afternoon,
Kingfish and tarpon seem to be the focus of this weekend. The kingfish are really biting! Reports of big numbers of fish have been reported by almost everyone that has been live baiting in the ocean from the inshore bar all the way in to the beach. The bait has been thick at the buoys offshore of Ft. Pierce. The increasing water temp has invited the bait back in towards the beach. With more bait near the beach the tarpon have been more abundant. I have had reports of tarpon from one side of the inlet to the other today. The outgoing tide has been the most productive. They’re eating small silver spoons, plugs, DOA bait busters, and live bait like mullet.
Good Luck
Geoff
