Good morning,
Yesterday was a slow day offshore for most. We fished the Citrus Tournament yesterday and ended up with a cobia, several kings, and a couple of small groupers. Gladwin Enns and crew took first with two nice grouper around 25 pounds and a cobia about the same. There were a couple of decent dolphin caught and an occasional sailfish encounter and that was about it. The water quality was very poor all the way out to 240′ and the bottom seemed chilly on the reef. Hopefully this East wind will push some better water in for the weekend.
Inshore there have been some guys catching great numbers of redfish North of the bridges with most being top slot or over-sized. There are plenty of snook to be caught and of course they are biting better now that season has closed.
Good luck and have a great weekend!!!
