Offshore: I have heard multiple reports of good tuna fishing from the corner North. Ben Horton went the other day and left at 11:00 a.m. and fished the afternoon bite. They had several nice yellowfins up to 65 pounds and some dolphins. Dale Sorensen and Beau Bryan went yesterday and had a similar report with their largest fish at 67 pounds. It sounds like the birds are starting to cooperate and the fishing is improving. I heard a report from a boat out of Sebastian that had 15 yellowfins on Sunday upwards of 90 pounds. The fishing out front has remained pretty good as well. There are still decent amounts of dolphin around and plenty of kingfish. There is quite a bit of bait on the beach (finally) and with the clean water I would expect the beach kingfishing to be strong. The mangrove snapper fishing has been pretty decent on the reef and we heard of a few nice groupers in the mix.
Inshore: Top water fishing has been really good the last few days. I have heard of some monster snook caught in the last few days on Skitter Walks, She Dogs, and Super Spooks. There are some nice trout on the flats and the redfishing is still consistent. I here there are some nice reds in the Vero area and on the Moorings flats.
Have a great day!
