Good morning,
Well I finally have an offshore report. I talked to Taylor Hanson last night, he fished on the Reliance and had a good dolphin day up to the North around the low 400's. They caught one dolphin over 40 #'s, one around 20, and a few others around 12 #'s. We went snapper fishing last night (to the North as well) in the 70' area. We only caught a couple due to very cold water. There were a lot of small sharks on the reef as well that made it even more difficult.
The river fishing seems to have slowed down the last few days. We had some banner evenings the last few days although the days seem slow. I saw a lot of fish in under a foot of water that were sunning and not very cooperative. I had the pleasure of fishing with Bill Dance day before yesterday in the river. Bill wanted to film a show on large trout in the Indian River so we gave it a try. The day started off well with a fat 5 pounder and seemed to go down hill from there. I think they are coming back in a couple of days so we can get some more footage. Below is a picture of Geoff, Bill, and I in the store after fishing. Bill and crew were great guys and an absolute blast to fish with. Anyways, there are a lot of nice fish in the river as we speak, hopefully they will start eating a little better than they were. It looks like its going to get kind of breezy the next few days but it should be fishable.
Have a great weekend!!!!
