Good morning,
I still have nothing to report from offshore (sorry). I don't know of anyone who has attempted to run offshore since last week. I did here from some of my buddies in Canaveral that the yellowfins were making a pretty good showing to our North. There was several reports of good tuna catches at the weather buoy, and I heard of some 50-60#ers close to our humps. It's time to start gearing up and getting the fluorocarbon cranked on!
Inshore fishing has been awesome this week. There are a lot of snook on the flats, as well as some nice trout and a few reds. Moon Crossman and Robby Moore fished yesterday morning to the North and caught approximately 15 snook and some nice trout, the largest trout was 7#'s. I jumped on the boat with moon after work for round two and we caught several more nice trout, the largest was an even 10#'s on the boga-grip. We also found a couple of tailing reds on the East side and managed to catch one of them. Give the river a try, it has been great!
Have a great day! Below is a picture of the largest trout from yesterday (ten #'s).
