Good morning,
Not much going on offshore. Trolling has been pretty slow and bait has been very tough to find. I talked to George Hogan yesterday and they had a great day bottom fishing the other day. They had a 42# Grey, several other nice Grey’s in the 30# range, a couple LARGE red grouper and 4 big genuines that equaled 62#’s combined. It sound like bottom fishing will be the game for the next little while until the trolling picks up. There have been some cobia up to the North near Sebastian and Melbourne so hopefully we will see some soon.
I heard of a few nice trout caught by some guys wading down near Savannah Road and a few slot sized redfish. There have been some snook caught in the mangroves to the North which means we are slowly getting into a Spring pattern and the fish are getting back on the flats. That’s about it for today, hopefully we will get a few more detailed reports for you in the next couple of days.
Have a great day!
