Hello,
Well if you stepped outside yesterday you know it was a bit windy to venture offshore. I really don’t have any kind of an offshore report since Saturday. It looks like it’s going to continue to blow for a few more days so I will keep you posted.
Inshore fishing remains promising. There have been some reds on the west side of the river near Harbor Branch and trout are just about everywhere. The water was actually pretty warm although last nights cold snap probably put a chill back in it. Most of the snook are still in deeper water around the inlet area. There have been a few caught on the flats but I would concentrate on the deeper stuff for another month or so. There have been some decent numbers of pompano caught in the river the last couple of days. The spoils South of South Bridge on the East side have been decent and I skipped a few along Indian River Drive on Saturday morning.
Hope everyone has a great week!
