Hello Ft. Pierce,
Looks like it’s going to be another great day in the wild blue. I have the radio on this morning and it sounds like there has been a couple sails caught to the south. The dolphin fishing remained good yesterday with some boats catching some decent fish. We are going to try and sailfish tomorrow and run across Monday so hopefully we will have a good report the next couple of days. There have still been a couple wahoo popping up out front, and plenty of other toothy monsters added in. Make sure and take PLENTY of bait if you head out this weekend. Between kings, bonitas, dolphin, etc. 4 dozen baits will go quick.
Inshore: I had reports again yesterday of some excellent redfishing. It sounds like the majority of the bite has been North of the North Bridge. I heard some other reports of pompano and reds in the River Woods area. Most of the fish have been caught on slowly presented jerk baits and a few on smaller spoons. Right now gulp jerk baits will be your best bet.
Have a great weekend, it’s going to get plenty rough after Tuesday so take advantage of the next few days!
Happy Holidays!
