Offshore fishing continues to remain strong. Sailfish, dolphin, kingfish, and even a few wahoos have been caught the last couple days. The Floridian caught four sails on a charter yesterday, and Moon on the Twenty is fishing today and caught 3 sail already this morning.
The inshore fishing is great. It seems as though the trout have started biting strong south in the river. The flats down by the power plant have been the best. Topwater plugs like the Skitterwalk have been good early in the day. Along with the normal flats species there have also been several grouper taken on the flats. Fishing in the inlet has been exciting with big jack, spanish mackerel, and snook crashing bait on the outgoing tide.
Have a great day and enjoy the weather,
