Good morning,
Sorry we missed a couple of days, everyone was out of town destroying turkey. Anyway, the fishing has been pretty decent for those who have ventured offshore. It has been pretty bumpy but the sailfishing has gotten better and plenty of dolphin are looming about. There have been multiple people reporting wahoos snipping off their dredge baits and mono leaders. Pat Price nose hooked one this weekend between 40-50#’s, and some smaller ones were caught as well. The sailfishing has still not fired off, but sounds like there are plenty of fish in the mix to make for a nice day.
Inshore: The redfishing has become spotty with some nice fish around but not the numbers we had been seeing. There has been some really nice snook on the flats up to around the 32" mark. It is always fun when the bigger snook move onto the flats. The flats by the inlet and North of North bridge would be good bets. I heard of a few fat trout caught over the weekend as well.
Get out there and go fishing! Have a great day!
