Good morning! The river has been alive the past dew days, lots of Snook and big jacks being caught in the St Lucie river from Sewalls point to downtown Stuart. Top water baits such as Zara Spook Jrs and skitter-walks fished against the seawalls and outside dock edges have been producing the most action. The pompano are still being caught from the northern end of sailfish flats all the way to Jensen causeway on either side of the Indian river. Tides are crucial in finding these pompano in good numbers. Offshore fishing has been decent the last dew days with calmer seas allowing much of the fleet to get out there. Scattered dolphin action from 80′-200′ with some bigger bulls being caught out of St Lucie inlet recently. Bottom fishing has been picking up lots of mutton, school masters, and a few yellow tail being caught. Closer to the inlet the Cubera snapper are being caught. Cobia are also making an appearance at the Sand pile, live bait and bright colored jigs will trigger the bite. Good luck! -Cullen
