Fishing over the weekend with the calm, warm weather was very good, and things are calming back down after the front on Monday. Offshore anglers have been getting Dolphin in the 100′ to 150′ of water range, and Kingfish in the 70′ to 80′ range. Bottom fishers have had good fishing for Mangrove Snapper in the 50′ to 70′ range, and Cobia are starting to be caught as well. Large schools of Jack Crevalle hit the beaches over the weekend, as did Spanish Mackerel near Fort Pierce Inlet and in the Cove in Vero. Sharks and Tarpon were also around. Surf anglers had very good Pompano fishing and Bluefish catches, so as things calm back down it should get in full swing again. Inshore, still plenty of large Snook around, as well as good sized Seatrout on the flats. Topwater action has picked up in the early hours, and soft plastics as the sun gets higher have been best. Good luck out there.
