The swell coming off of Lee is going to make offshore and the surf fairly tough for a few days, but hopefully we will get a reprieve soon. Offshore activity has been good, with Dolphin and scattered Sailfish being the best bets in the 120′ range. In the surf, the mullet run has been active until now, with mostly finger mullet moving south down the beaches. Snook, Jack Crevalle, sharks, Spanish Mackerel, and Tarpon have all been there to greet them. Inshore activity has spiked as well with the mullet movement, with Snook, baby Tarpon, Seatrout, and Redfish all in on the action. NLBN Mini Mullet, DOA BaitBusters, and plugs have all worked well. Find the mullet and you’ll likely find the fish. The inlets have produced good numbers of Snook, along with Jack Crevalle and Tarpon. Good luck out there.
