Storm conditions will keep most off the water for a day or two, but the opening of Snook season Friday morning will certainly bring out plenty of anglers. Activity in the inlets has been very good, with lots of Snook being caught on jigs, Yo-Zuri Fingerling plugs, and soft plastics. Offshore provided very good Kingfish activity in 70′ to 80′ of water before it got rough, so hopefully that gets going after it calms down. Dolphin and Sailfish have been scattered. Surf activity will be tough until it calms down and cleans up, hopefully soon. Inshore there is lots of bait, and Snook and baby Tarpon have been taking advantage of that. Mullet and Pilchards comprise most of the bait. Good luck out there.
