Calm conditions are finally here, much to the delight of surf anglers. The seaweed has all but gone away, and the water has cleaned up. There have been few Pompano caught, but some Permit and croakers. Snook numbers are starting to tick up, and bait is returning as well. Offshore anglers have been catching Kingfish in the 70′ range, and the Mangrove Snapper bite continues to be really good just inside that. Inshore, Sheepshead and Mangrove Snapper have been active around the bridges on fiddler crabs, and good Snook catches continue (catch and release only). Good luck out there.
