Dolphin fishing has been the best bet of late, with good catches happening in the 150′ range. The seaweed has formed some bigger patches in areas, and the Dolphin have taken advantage of the cover. Current rips have also been productive. The surf has unfortunately been unfishable due to the seaweed and somewhat rougher conditions, but it looks like some westerly winds are likely to show up next week, hopefully clearing some of the weed out. This is the last day of Snook season for a while, and fishing has been very good in the inlets, during the day on live bait, and jigs at night. Inshore, Snook continue to be the best bet, with quality fish on the flats and around docks. Live bait and soft plastics have had the best results. The water has remained clear, and some Redfish and Seatrout are being caught, mostly to the north. Good luck out there.
