Snook fishing in the inlets remains rock solid, mostly on live bait, and Tarpon fishing at night has been really good. Silver Mullet have been moving north, much to the delight of the Tarpon and the schools of big Jack Crevalle nearshore. Snook are being caught on the beaches with greater frequency, mostly on soft plastics such as the DOA Bait Buster. A few Pompano are also being caught on sand fleas, along with some Whiting. Offshore has been a bit slim, with some scattered Sailfish and Dolphin in the 120′ range. Inshore, Snook are still the best bet, with big fish still cruising the flats, and plenty of fish on the shorelines and docks. With the warmer morning temps, topwater has been effective, as have soft plastics like the NLBN Mini Mullet. A few Redfish along the shorelines are being caught, and some decent Jack Crevalle providing a tussle as well. Good luck out there.
