The weather has settled a bit, and fishing the surf has improved. Snook are being caught in better numbers, including a fair number of slot fish. Soft plastics such as paddle tails are producing the best. Pompano anglers have also seen a spike in catches, on sand fleas and shrimp. Offshore, the cleaner water starts at around 200 feet, and scattered Dolphin have been the best bet, along with some Cobia in closer. Inshore, Snook numbers remain strong on the flats and shorelines, and the water has remained clear in most places. Some Redfish have also been caught, along with the occasional Seatrout. Snook fishing in the inlets has been solid, and Tarpon have been active at night as well, busting mullet that have been moving back north. Good luck out there.
