Good morning everyone. The swell is subsiding, and mullet are moving down the beach pretty regularly now. Tarpon, Snook, sharks, Jack Crevalle, Ladyfish, and others are staged up to ambush them as they pass thru. NLBN Lil’ Mullet, Hogys, Zara Spooks, and Yo-Zuri twitch baits have all been productive. There has been weed in some places, but it’s been clear in others, so you might have to look around a bit. Inshore, the water has still remained largely clear, though the rains ahead may dirty it some. Snook continue to be the best bet along docks and shorelines, and the higher tides have made some shorelines a bit deeper. A few Redfish are also being caught, which are now catch and release only in the Indian River. Soft plastics such as the NLBN Lil’ Mullet have been quite successful inside as well. Offshore, the Kingfish bite has been good in the 70′ to 80′ range on live greenies, and Dolphin have been caught in the 80′ to 90′ range. Snook fishing in the inlets with flare hawks has been good, as well as with live finger mullet. Good luck out there.
