Good morning everyone. It looks like the weather is going to improve for the holiday weekend, so hopefully everyone can get out and enjoy it. The cooler temps should help to make the Indian River a bit clearer, hopefully boosting sight fishing opportunities. Redfish numbers have been on the rise, taking mostly soft plastics, and Seatrout numbers are picking up as well with the cooler temps, mostly along spoil islands and deeper shorelines on soft plastics and live shrimp. Fort Pierce Inlet has been productive for Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, and even Pompano, particularly on incoming water. Snook fishing in the evenings has also still been productive, mostly on jigs. Offshore and the surf have been pretty poor due to the conditions, but hopefully that will change over the weekend. Have a Happy Thanksgiving, and hopefully you can spend time with family and friends.
