Good morning everyone. The beach is the place to be, with the mullet run looking as good as it has in several years. It’s still mostly finger mullet, but some Silver Mullet are beginning to show. Snook, Tarpon, Jack Crevalle, and Bluefish are all taking advantage, and everything from swim baits to spoons have been effective. Inshore has been a bit slow, with some Redfish being caught in the Round Island area, and Snook still along mangrove shorelines with current and docks. Offshore, there have been Dolphin in 80′ of water being caught mostly on live bait, and bottom fishers have been getting good numbers of Mangrove Snapper in the 60′ to 80′ range, with some Cobia roaming around in the same area. Snook fishing the inlets has been a bit hit or miss, best on live bait. Good luck out there.
