Good morning everyone. Calmer surf conditions over the weekend led to some good Snook fishing, as well as a few Tarpon around, as well as some Spanish Mackerel, Ladyfish. and Jack Crevalle. There’s a bit of rougher conditions over the next few days, but hopefully after that passes things will pick right back up. Inshore, Snook fishing remains solid on the shorelines with current, and baby Tarpon are around early to be caught, on soft plastics and baitfish flies, particularly around basins and falling water around creeks. The inlets are still producing good Snook catches ( Catch and release until the end of the month ) on jigs and especially on live bait. Offshore could get a bit bumpy the next several days, but Sailfish and Kingfish have been active in the 60′ to 80′ of water range. Snapper fishing in 60′ to 80′ of water north of Fort Pierce has also been quite good, on both live and dead bait. Good luck out there.
