Good morning everyone. Surf conditions remain pretty good, with most areas fairly clean, and while there seem to be no large bait pods, there is scattered bait in most areas. Snook numbers are getting better after the cooler surf temps of late last week, and Spanish Mackerel, Ladyfish, and Jack Crevalle are also keeping lines stretched out. Snook fishing in the inlets is still pretty good ( season is closed for a few more weeks ), with some Redfish thrown into the mix in Sebastian. Offshore, Kingfish and Sailfish have been active in the 60′ to 100′ range, mostly on live bait. Inside, there has been some Snook activity on shorelines and docks, and some areas are still providing sight fishing opportunities for Redfish and Snook for those putting the time in. With the forecast for some tough weather for the weekend, getting out over the next few days would be the best bet.
Good luck out there.
