Good morning everyone. The Indian River has remained rather clear, and sight fishing opportunities are out there for Snook and Redfish, with Seatrout numbers a bit fewer, possibly due to the temps. Best bet for Seatrout is early, and fish have been taking surface plugs such as Zara Spooks, providing great fun. Snook and Redfish have both been taking soft plastics such as DOA CALs and Gulp, and fly anglers have also been getting their share. Offshore, Dolphin fishing has slowed a bit, but there are good numbers of smaller Kingfish in the 70′ to 90′ of water range, and good Mangrove Snapper fishing in the same depth. Surf fishing is still a bit hit and miss as far as weed and clarity, but some west winds are on the way, which should help. Where the weed has been less of a problem, anglers are catching Snook, Spanish Mackerel, Lookdowns, and Jack Crevalle. There are some Snapper and Spanish Mackerel being caught in the inlets as well. Good luck out there.
