Good morning everyone. We’ve finally got some nicer fishing weather, just in time for the extended Memorial Dat weekend. Offshore, Dolphin fishing has been solid in 120′ to 150′ of water, on both live and dead bait. Kingfish activity along the reef in 70′ to 80′ of water has also been good, not a lot of big fish being caught, but good numbers. Surf fishermen are still suffering from an abundance of sea weed, which could take several more days to clear out. Snook fishing in the inlets has been good as well, with the slightly dirtier water making for a good bite, just before the season closes June 1st. The Indian River continues to yield good numbers of quality Snook, on live bait, soft plastics, and well placed flies. Water clarity has remained good in the IRL, allowing for sight fishing opportunities on Snook, and still some solid Seatrout. Good luck out there, and have a happy and safe Memorial Day weekend!
