Good morning everyone. There were some good catches of Pompano over the weekend for a change, though the recent winds have churned the water up a bit. Hopefully as it clears up they will still be around. There are also increasing numbers of Snook showing up on the beaches, particularly in places with structure, such as the jetties and Riomar. Offshore has been tough, as the water temperature recently went from 76 degrees down to 68 degrees, Snook fishing in the inlets and the bridges in Fort Pierce have been very good, flare jigs at night in the inlet, and live bait at the bridges. The Indian River has yielded more Seatrout of late in Vero and Fort Pierce, while Redfish numbers still seem down. Those poling shorelines and flats continue to be rewarded with shots at larger Snook. While challenging and difficult, catching one of these larger fish is one to remember. Good luck, and have fun.
