Good morning everyone. The changing weather pattern continues to shuffle deck as far as fishing goes, but there have been some bright spots. There have been scattered Dolphin offshore, as the Last Mango charter boat caught quite a few yesterday, and Kingfish have also been active along the reef in 60′ to 80′ of water. Inshore, Snook have gotten more active with the warmer weather, and the somewhat dirtier water the rains have brought has made them more cooperative as well. Redfish continue to be caught along the shorelines on soft plastics such as the DOA CAL jigs, particularly in the area north of Harbor Branch. Pompano fishing along the beach has overall been disappointing, but some have been caught in the Jaycee Park area in Fort Pierce, and a mix of Spanish Mackerel, Jack Crevalle, and Bluefish have been providing activity up and down the area. Snook fishing in the inlets has been hit or miss, but the impending cold front should spark some activity. For now, the best bet has been live bait on the outgoing. Good luck out there.
